A boy who is misunderstood by everyone must takes on ghosts, zombies and grown-ups to save his town from a centuries-old curse.
It is quite a dark film for a kiddies film, the only other horror children's film i have seen that was quite as eerie was Monster House. But all i can say is if you are taking kids stick around till the end as i doubt they will be scared by the end.
It is made with stop-motion animation (like Wallace and Gromit.) which i can only imagine takes a lot of dedication to move figures millimeters at a time to make a 90 minutes film. Visually it was great and you couldn't tell that it wasn't animation.
Like most animations there are jokes for kids and for adults, i really
enjoyed this film, i was going to pass on it, but i saw clips and an
interview with the creators on BBC Breakfast and thought i might as well
go see it, and i'm glad i did! A strong 4/5.
